Never hurts to have a spare. These props are pretty tough but after a few seasons you may have a few nicks. Replacing your prop can eliminate premature wear on your rotor. Total replacement time is about 10 minutes.  Make sure you select the correct type as the ductless (Yellow) and ducted (Blue) versions are not interchangeable.

For Gen 2 & Gen 3 XL motors

Took me some time to get the screws out with multiple attempts.

Took me some time to get the screws out with multiple attempts. Turns out there was hard packed dirt in the screw head which was not allowing the allen wrench to penetrate deep enough into the screw. Otherwise fairly straight forward.
Still not sure how the propeller broke at the base of one of the props. I am overly cautious with making sure the rudder is pulled up.
