The Hobie transducer cavity in the Lynx and Passport kayaks is the ideal location for our retractable propulsion system that can operate in under six inches of water. This unit uses our brushless ducted motor mounted on a custom plate that will automatically deploy and retract from the transducer cavity space. The complete system weighs under 12 pounds including our custom 18.5 volt 42ah battery and is a drop-in replacement for the existing Lowrance Ready Plate or Guardian Plate.

We bought 2 units, for me and the wife’s lynx. Super easy install. I use my Lynx for fishing and the unit worked above what my expectations were, fighting a 3 knot incoming tide, no problem, running slow and quiet to catch some Reds, no problem. So far so good. Surprising strong motor for the size. I would recommend.

Just tried it out for the first time yesterday. It performed as reviewed. Only expedition being the turbo mode doesn't seem to be much different than regular. The speed didn't increase marketably. Solid components. Easy install. Sleek design.
Simple, thoughtfully designed modular, minimalist system that integrates into my Lynx flawlessly, produces sufficient speed and has remarkable battery life. Transducer mounted motor extends and retracts automatically as advertised and simple to install and remove. Primary use is in tidal creeks and this triples my coverage, gets super skinny and doesn’t spook fish.
What a great product. Easy to install. Was on the water for over seven hours still had 83% of battery life at the end of the day. I’ve bought two so far one for me and one for my husband. Well worth the money.
All I can say is unbelievable! Just spent three days fishing with it on a Hobie Lynx. This is a run and gun dream machine that bucks the tide. Only took one charge and still have 60% of the battery left.l
